Hi from Honduras Posted Monday, March 28, 2005 by divecare
Hi everybody
First off apologies but I cannot find a comma on this keyboard. What the hell it is the Carribean after all!
Thanks to all of you that turned up at the pub the other week to see me off. I had a great time luckily though the dive boat here in Roatan is a bit more Sea worthy than the cake that Paul and Sarah made. it was rather delicious though.
Well it is lovely and hot out here. the Diving is fabulous with crystal clear warm water. and a wide variety of different dives. wrecks. reefs. walls. caverns. drifts and channels. I am out on the boat every day learning the reefs and the dive sites ready for when you all come out to stay. I will try to post some pictures if I can.
Warm wishes
David
Divecare school has new owners! Posted Tuesday, March 15, 2005 by divecare
Hi Everyone,
As most of you know by now Kate, Eleanor, Jacques, Elliott and I are off to Honduras this year to set up a Scuba diving resort on the Island of Roatan, we have a range of accomodations from luxury to simple but attractive and a forty foot dive boat with onboard compressor allowing us to do overnight excursions to deserted Islands, I am leaving to Roatan for a month on Thursday, so this Wednesday night will be my last for a long time (so come along and see me off!).
Divecare's Scuba School is being taken over by Liz and Keith Sleightholm, you may have already met them through their Dive centre in Colchester 'Shark Scuba', they will be carrying on all courses that are currently running and obviously be offering new courses to you all.
And so I will leave you all in their capable hands and see you in Honduras for some dives with Dolphins and Swims with Whalesharks.
Warmest wishes
David
