Core Dives

Underwater Navigation

It's nice to be able to find your way back from a dive site without having to surface, to know where you are and which direction you are travelling. This dive teaches you the secret of finding your way around using both compass and natural navigation techniques. If you don't have a compass already you will need one, drop by the shop for advice on selection.

Deep Dive

There are good reasons for being able to Dive a little deeper in safety, the better wrecks are quite often the deeper ones. This Dive introduces you to safe deeper diving practices, and the effects of depth.

Elective Dives

Night Dive

Everyones favourite dive, see the amazing change in a dive site when the sun goes down. Different creatures, and vivid colours are some of the remarkable transformations that take place. You will need to buy or rent a night diving torch and a backup torch.

Boat Dive

The relaxed way to dive no more long surface swims or treks across rocky beaches, let the boat do all the work. This dive will show you the techniques and protocol employed when boat diving, it's also a good chance to visit a site that you could not reach any other way.

Drift Dive

Dive from the boat when the tide is running and experience the exhilaration of being carried along the sea bed by the water, mastering buoyancy control and use of the S.M.B. You'll be surprised how far you will go.

Multilevel Dive

If you dive using the wheel or table this form of diving will increase your dive times dramatically. Multileveling is where you ascend progressively to one or more shallower depths during the same dive extending your bottom time. Perfect for wall dives.

Drysuit Dive

Dive warm, dry and comfortably throughout the year, if you love UK diving this dive is invaluable. You will need to complete a pool session to familiarise yourself with this very different style of diving, before the open water dive, especially if you have never dived in a drysuit before.

Search and Recovery

No need to despair if you lose bits of kit, after this course you will be familiar with the techniques used to find and recover them again. From watches to anchors ( using the correct tools e.g. lifting bag )

Underwater Naturalist

This dive focuses on the aquatic eco system, you¹ll learn more about the animals and plants that you encounter whilst diving, and how the environment dictates their form and behaviour and more importantly how our behaviour affects them.

Underwater Photography

There is no better way of illustrating your diving stories than with your own photos, and who knows, you may even be able to sell a few. Keep a record of your dive and add some colour to your log book, whether you are taking pictures of your buddy, or macro shots of the fascinating creatures that you find. We can hire you a camera if you have not got one of your own.

Wreck Dive

Many ships lie on the sea bed for numerous reasons, stormy weather, gunfire, piracy, torpedoes, mines or just bad seamanship to name a few. The UK is blessed with thousands of miles of coastline dotted with thousands of wrecks, many books and stories talk about these wrecks history and fate. But none can describe the thrill of descending onto a historic piece of Britains maritime heritage and imagining how your dive site came to be.

Peak Performance Buoyancy

Polish your buoyancy control up to standard beyond Open Water level through knowledge development and practical skill sessions.
